^^ I'm going to throw a no out on that one mass. It's just trying to hard. It looks well constructed, but conceptually weak. Maybe if the collar was set in reverse it would appear more balanced. The asymmetric look is best for knits imo though.

Let's just say, it's too asymmetric. Although it maybe the hanger effect. I have an asymmetric coat by Ann Dem, but it takes a while for someone to notice its asymmetry.

I was thinking the same thing. I wanted to take back the collar setting idea as it would look worse reversed. I just couldn't figure out why it was sitting weird with me and it was bugging the hell out of me. Any chance of pics of the Ann D coat on the hanger and than worn?
thanks guys, and i agree with all your points. my initial impression was no, but you know. i guess i've sort of decided that if i need to ask, then i probably shouldn't buy it, and just focus on getting the pieces on my 'want list'.
I think Coldrice was looking at a very similar asymm blazer from Julius as well (I think this piece is Julius right Mass?) and ended up not getting it as well. There is just something weird about that look that isn't quite right.
Julius blazers are cut really beautifully though. I'm wondering how their suits are as they can be had for VERY reasonable prices on yahoo auctions as well.
