Been looking into a pair of shorts/culottes (in this case shorts) that had skirt like properties but are not a skirt (extremely wide legged cropped culottes or shorts with different panelling).

I quite like the fit of pods and the length. I just wanted to inquire whether anyone has seen/tried/vomited at the sight of these faun shorts? I like my short below the knees like pods and I imagine these models are quite a bit taller than I am, (5'6") so the faun shorts could work.

faun shorts are shorter in length than pods. personally i hate both those styles u posted. love the 'REGULAR' faun shorts though.

Thoughts on black dress shirts?

I've heard that wearing one will make you look like you're a waiter/affected super villain/wannabe vampire.

I like how Siki Im's hidden placket shirt is styled here though.

I think everything looks better in black, especially dress shirts.

Nah, white dress shirts are the best. The problem with black dress shirts is that it either looks like you're trying to "dress up" if it's like broadcloth and jeans or a waiter's uniform if it's with black dress pants.

The Siki Im is kind of OK because it has some neat details (or at least one) though personally, I wouldn't get it unless it has like a throne collar or other details that make it look non-typical.

i must be one of the few that don't see or imagine waiter or vampie. agree with En. on this one. it's a nice shirt, that looks pretty easily wearable, so i don't see why not.

Black dress shirt is tricky territory. Design/styling has to be on point or else you look like a pick-up artist.

there are countless ways to wear black shirts. my standard office uniform is either a black knit/sweater or a black shirt, almost always with a black blazer. But I wear them with black or dark jeans, which I think makes a big difference. I wouldn't wear a black shirt with a black suit, thats too much, but with more casual pants it looks great imo.
