I lowkey like the gum sole variant on the black. I'd say choose it to go against the grain. I can't recall seeing any pictures with someone wearing them.
Living in the PNW now I am in need of a rain type jacket. Not sure what to think about either of these (both would maybe be better without seam tape) or if I should just go with arc'teryx veilance or something:
BBS for the hood protection and length in this case. Someone suggested Norwegian Rain recently -- worth a look. There's a whole thread on rain gear as well.

if you're after a shorter jacket I'd recommend tracking down this Devoa jacket as the one you posted is made from a wool suiting material, interesting piece but not waterproof at all. the SS15 one I have is completely waterproof (and stands up to the onslaught of rain we've been getting of late in the PNW). Devoa also produced a longer version for SS16.

wow this guy is the king of trying way too fuckin hard... also too much money not enough style. i would pretty much take everything off the list that this guy wears. I think the absolute worse thing that rick has made probably is the sunglasses, it seems more and more obvious that only complete d-bags sport them, not counting Doc from back to the future.
