      I say no as well.

Sidenote: I was after that DH double belt for awhile, but once I tried it on it somehow didn't fit right on me. Pain in the ass to put on and take off as well.

Glad you didn't pull the trigger on that one :)

You should keep checking the Dior msn forum and ebay for DH shirts from past seasons. They cost less, are more well made and are less preacher-y

There are a lot of brands that cut like DH these days in terms of shirts. You should explore some of the brands mentioned on here as a lot of them can be had on ebay for fractions of retail with lovely cuts and sharp fits.

Thanks, any brands you specifically recommend? I have a big pretty chest for my height so the proportions are kinda weird

                Re: repettos

Maybe try Ann Demeulemeester or Raf in that case. The sleeves are often slim with a wider cut through the body which works well both for a slouchy look on some people and a more natural fit possibly for you.

Maybe some other members may have suggestions here as well :)

                  Re: Yes or No?

im looking for a coat/blazer thats casual and can double up as a dinner "going out jacket," something for the more semi-formal occasions, that i dont go to much.

i dont particularly wear, or like wearing, suits. but this ccp long coat caught my eye, its really non-descript and sharp.

ill probably get the non-raglan shoulder with the taped seams, does anyone know how much these cost?

                  oppinions appreciated [8-|]

In Japan they retail for around 3k USD and you can find a rack full of them in various materials in the stores there. Eastern Market had a similar jacket from SS07 a few months back. I got mine on sale at 40% off...

nevermind, if you're looking for the current season one (well... technically last season now)then I think they were all issued with a classic front/raglan back design which is really awesome and I think it falls right in that category of what you're looking for.

It's a BEAUTIFUL piece. You will love it!!!

I tried it on at the DH store in Beverly Hills. However, the design isn't anything revolutionary, and I'm sure similar mockups have been done.

Ann Demeulemeester has a multi-wrap version... actually several and you can find them on yahoo auctions for relatively cheap on the regular.
