alright, so i went for the two-tone RO leather in XS.its almosttoo slim. and thearms are ridiculous. think... of ron jeremy, wearing a condom from taiwan or something. they're THAT tight. and since a good portion of the arms are ribbed, im thinking they wont stretch enough to accomodate my apparently fat arms.
i've never even owned a leather jacket! do the arms generally stretch alot (like, an inch)? i'd hate to have to exchange fora small again, but i will if i have to. for $3000, shit has to be perfect.

I feel your pain Chris. I exchanged my Rick jacket twice (a medium for what I thought was a roomier medium) and still didn't get it right. The bottom line is that I needed a large. The difference between sizes this season is super subtle - an inch at most across the various dimensions - so you can safely size up for a more comfortable feel without losing the streamlined fit. You still have the receipt right?
I saw Chris' jacket at barneys yesterday and was wondering for a second why bh had ro. If it were my size I would have had my buddy scoop it up for nearly 50 off [74]
thanks for the advice iSuck and JohnFG, you've convinced me that I should get one with the standard collar.
one other small detail, could I get your opinions on whether I should get the version with leather cuffs and back ribbing, or the version with ribbed cuffs and all leather at the back? I am currently leaning towards the version with the ribbed cuffs, as I don't know if the back ribbing would look as good as the all leather version. Any thoughts on look, durability etc.?

..."I am currently leaning towards the version with the ribbed cuffs, as I don't know if the back ribbing would look as good as the all leather version." ... that's exactly why I bought this version. Didn't like the back ribbing. The ribbed cuffs work well in summer: you can just chop them up :)
thanks for the advice guys, I'm pretty certain of exactly which jacket I should get now. Only issue now is to find a proxy who can get one is a small for me haha.
im hoping to find one with leather cuffs and all leather at back. dont know if its just me, but the ribbed cuffsare kinda uncomfortable when i wear it on a warm day.
