Then you can integrate your personal style into your environment as people get to know you. Like dji said...not over the top. Common sense should prevail.
I basically roll like dji in the office but go much more conservative when meeting with clients. I'm there to close business and represent a brand in those meetings and I have no issues with that.
That being said there are jobs I would wear a classic menswear 3 piece suit for on a daily basis.
There are jobs that I'm only willing to do if they let me do them naked.
Somewhere in between is usually where I find myself and that doesn't seem to turn my stomach.

Hell - it may work for the guy to wear whatever the fuck he wants. I was just making the suggestion based on the city we are both in.
Wow, be your own boss sounds so easy guys. I guess it depends on the industry you are in and the ROI you are looking for too.
I respect the heck out of those of you that do it but I am not sure I would push just anybody in that direction. I believe the numbers are something like 8 out of 10 businesses fail within the first 5 years.Originally posted by hausofblaqGrow up.

Never been to a job interview, however I've had meetings with producers who (behind my back) said they hated me for wearing a black buttoned shirt and an equally black suit jacket. They could never work with someone who didn't dress in blue jeans and a funny t-shirt. Then they said something like: "Who the fuck does he think he is?" At least according to a mutual friend.
To sum it up: It goes both ways.Last edited by destroymebaby; 03-13-2015, 12:52 PM.The morning is not enough.
