Really the only store here I've felt worthwhile is Blush. I wish I could find their webpage again, but the address is 648-24 Shinsadong, Gamgnam-gu. For the most part I have stopped bothering with select shops here.

[edit: oops. Confused the shop in this below experience with the previously mentioned Ecru when it was actually Null. I don't know why I always get the two confused.]
I went twice into the shop Null and found it incredibly worthless and a bit surreal. The first time I had a shop staff following me within two steps. I can handle staff being right on top of you to help, but she didn't seem about to lift a finger for me. Instead she became an obstacle when I continuously had to maneuver around her. When I began heading upstairs I heard an audible sigh from behind me as she "had" to follow me up. She was loudly chewing on gum practically in my ear and went as far to blow bubbles with it in my face. The second time I went in I was with a Korean and came across this woman again. She told the person I was with that she remembered me and assumed before that I was basically a "spy", at their shop to take their ideas.

Acid – If his trainers all follow the same sizing scale regardless of style, the 41.5's outsole will measure 11 3/8". But wouldn't you rather have the insole measurement? That's what I asked for when calling around for mine (original style, not these). It's 11", btw. I know because this is the size I bought. Though a full size & then some too large, the deal I scored 'em for easily justified the compromise of adding a double insole. Besides, the kung-fu grip of the ankle zipper ensures they won't budge, so even if you're off by a full size like I was, you can still make them work. Sure they'll make your feet look bigger than anything, but clown shoes are clown shoes–what's an extra half inch? ;p

interest1 - Thanks for your info and insights! I actually have this pair of trainers in a 41, and it fits me ok, but it's a little short for my liking...the outsole is only 29cm (11.4 inch). I'd rather have it in a larger size with a longer outsole length and wear it with insoles. And thus I was wondering if I should go with a 41.5 or 42.
And of course if i decide to go with 42, I'll find that it's already sold out everywhere
