It's softer, however I've never tried the horse to really compare. Make no mistake though, donkey is still a hard wearing leather, I thrash mine. The donkey's mould really well too
Thanks Venus. Originally wanted to kop the all milk pair in size 40 from Christian's opportunity thread but unfortunately theres been a mix up... Either I switch to the all black pair or go for size 41
Don't really need another pair of black shoes so I might take the risk...
Just the quick conclusion of my recently posted problem.
I called the customs office, and I told the lady I talked to that I didn't have a receipt because it's a gift, so she told me to put down Geschenksendung (gift shipment) and the stated value and just fax it to them. Well now 2 days later I got the package . I had to pay 20%+2,5% (21€) based on the declared value.
It almost seams as if they send out these letters in the hope that people tell them what they really paided for the item(s) so they can make extra $$
no spare buttons but i got some shoestrings.....anyway, i found a pair of boots that i REALLY REALLY want and like, the problem is they are a 45 and I am a 44. I just wonder if others have bought boots to be a tad too big and if it is worth or did you regret it? btw, these are really great boots, just dont know if im gonna be feeling like frankengiela.
one size isn't necessarily a huge difference, so I'd check how much larger they are, ie is the outsole notably longer.
"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."
I agree with lowrey, outsole measurment is god when you're buying shoes that might be too big. It's not a good thing if you go around slaming the toebox into things as you walk and thereby destroy them. Also, I find it really unconfortable to walk in shoes that are too long for me. The inside can always be solved with an extra insole but it would be a shame if you'd have to invest in a RO scuba to go with your frogman footwear.
i wasn't sure where else to ask this. can someone post the poignant quote about how you're paying for the artists vision rather than yada yada? i think it might've been faust who originally said it. not quite sure. i've been looking for it for 15 minutes to no avail. thanks in advance.
my ma boots is a 43 and fits true to size. im a 42 and im not to bothered with the fit. they feel a bit bigger than my other shoes bt im very happy with them and you can always get an insole.
