I'm assuming the zips help the heel get into the boot by creating a split in the leather when it's going in. Working theoretically in my head lol.

if the boots are tight, the hardest part is getting the heel in. having a zip there should make it much easier to slide in.

I'm about to go ahead and purchase the wool over leather shoes by LUC that were in good finds and have come to an agreement with the seller, however I thought I'd better check if anyone knows how these shoes have held up in use. Just whether the soles have lasted or the wool over leather functions well.

From what I learned, whatever from Italy, I am always charged custom tax. Bad news I know. Usually because they always ship item by DHL, TNT, UPS like these private shipping company other than governmental post service.

Even I got item from Rech (personal), I was charged tax for like 40 EUR. damn.
