yea i was wondering the same thing about guidi not being precision construction. but i'll still prefer to be more cautious. the seller has a high positive rating so that eases things abit. but would like to be sure.

yes. ive been scouring the net for the past hour, and every single one ive seen has been EXACTLY like the second pic, none were even close to the first pictured.

starting to have my doubts. like wad cyan mentioned, other pics of the boots seem legit.

the logo on both of my pairs is more strongly embossed, but its probably hand pressed so I wouldn't be surprised if there is variation. I personally haven't come across fake guidis, properly made leather shoes are harder to knock off than sneakers.

lowrey: neither have i came across fake guidis, and from the pictures, ive compared with the real ones, they look the same. but ive asked hide-san to pm the seller to inquire if the boots come with guidi box/tags and the leather it is made of, but the seller doesnt reply, despite hide-san asking twice. kinda fishy. now the question is whether i should take the risk.

small question about boots with back-zip:

are they confortable? isn't the zip hurting? I'm interested in buying some but can't really figure out how it feels wearing them...

i think usually they have a piece of leather under the zipper teeth on the inside of the boot, so i dont think it will feel any uncomfortable. at least from what i have seem, Guidi.

I don't feel the zipper at all regardless of how far I zip up my boots. There is a leather flap on the inside that runs the entire length of the boot.

small question about boots with back-zip: are they confortable? isn't the zip hurting? I'm interested in buying some but can't really figure out how it feels wearing them...

Sure there's a flap but for istance my RO side zip boots do hurt on the malleolus...
