Hi i don't know if this is the right place to post this, I am so anally paranoid over the wearing out of Lanvins (same sole as cp)
The soles are like this now
Should I/Do I need to bring them to the cobbler? To add some sort of protection or sth? Or is this just the tip of the iceberg, bring them in when they're worn out further?
CP/LANVIN shoe owners or anyone who can assist, any help is appreciated thanks!
P.S. Pardon me if i posted at the wrong thread

I appreciate the replies. I found some thread where people where stating that even on the store hangers they were noticing the little bumps in the shoulders. I'm new to leather garments so I figured I check.
Any suggestions on purchasing RO velvet hangers or nearly identical hangers since sellers never seem to include them?

Here's what I've done in the past to dye leather shoes:
• First wipe them down to remove any dirt or dust.
• Use masking tape to protect the sole if you don't want to dye it.
• Next use a rag and acetone to remove polish and open up the pores in the leather. Allow acetone to dry.
• Get a good quality leather dye: Lincoln, Fiebings, etc. and apply two even coats over the boot, allowing for time to dry in between coats. The shoes may have an weird sheen at this point.
• Finally, use your preferred black shoe polish to restore the finish of the boot. This should get rid of the sheen and give a nice even color.
Hope that helps.THE HOUSE OF DIS
