Here's another small question, this time more fashion orientated :)

Can anyone tell me what these boots are? They are worn in the Odyn Vovk fit photos on Blackbird.

Thank-you thank-you thank-you!!! Rather stupidly, it didn't occur to me to look in Blackbird's shoes section...

I've looked some more at these boots. They're made by Hudson - not a make I'd ever heard of. Their range is basically designer knock-offs, reasonably well done. The ones above caught my eye because they borrow heavily from Ann D. But the puritan in me craves 'authenticity'!

Same as oki-ni. Send them an email stating your looking for VAT exemption, and provide them with your account. They'll update it with the prices with a VAT discount. 20% I think.

I believe VAT here has increased from 17.5% to 20% - the UK Govt is basically bankrupt so they are trying to tax their way out of the pit... (but I think they are actually digging themselves deeper...)

I was given 20% off by LN-CC, and quoted 21% VAT exemption by the flag ship ANN D store at Antwerp. Perhaps other places in Europe are still at 17.5%? I don't know. But I'm not one to argue with a bigger discount

I don't know anything about the brand. But I would not call these knock-offs, there just basic army boot style thats been around for at least 70 years and probably more. No designer, Ann D. included, invented the style.

Original message was asking about LN-CC. To answer xeraphim's question, I used oki-ni as a reference as to how to register/inquire about the VAT exemption.

                            washing washi

Has anyone tried to wash the LUC washi (Japanese paper) j-pants? I've never dealt with this material before. I'm apprehensive about washing them, but I don't like to dry clean if I can avoid it.

                            Thanks in advance.

                              washi

I had mine stained by some food recently...contemplated hand-washing but chickened out in the end and had it dry-cleaned instead.

Alright I need help...I have Pina Zangaro portfolio case that measures 16x20x2 - i need a bag for it and can't find anything that big that isn't horrible. I really would be fine with a simple zip bag, a tote, anything. I don't need anything fancy but i really can't find a single thing that big. any suggestions? I really need the bag more to keep scuffs off of it.
