Gently handwashing my LUC raw silk cardigan in lukewarm water should be ok, right?

hey guys i've been away for a few days but i appreciate all the responses i got so i'm going to offer up a belated reply. and yes i realize its not the end of the world but at that moment i was infuriated. its worse than the photo looks. a deep gash like someone took a sharp nail to my boots to scratch in his initials but only got the first line done. and they are new and expensive so i was pretty pissed. i'll live though.

I don't think it is that bad. That's what shoes and especially boots are for. If you take it to a cobbler to get it sanded out it will be even worse. Just try to make it less visible if you can't live with it.

CJ its not that serous, boots are nicer after they've had a few scratches and gain some character.
and yes dji, driving does take a toll on the heel of shoes...........
thanks guysdying and coming back gives you considerable perspective

I'd check the 'transactions problems and disputes' thread to see if they are mentioned. Generally speaking though I'd try to avoid, unless someone else has had a good experience with them."Lots of people who think they are into fashion are actually just into shopping"
