ok has anyone had a chance to handle this jacket yet? i'm curious about the fit and the fabric. looking for a firsthand account of the material. is there a texture? or stiffness? or is it one of the more basic jersey materials. and whether it is a size up or true to size kind of thing. thanks!

true but in my experience ma+ uses the "cotton jersey" description for many varied types of fabrics. all are cotton jersey for sure, but that is just the starting point. sometimes ma+ cotton jersey can be awesome and other times it can be rather unexceptional. sometimes it is light and sometimes it is very heavy. this one looks light but even the light ones can be great if they have a bit of texture, as demonstrated here:
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective

is anyone willing to do a U.K proxy?
I have this Manchester United shirt that I want on ebay but seller isn't responding to my appeal to allow me to bid on it.
Im from Singapore. Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.

For those of you who own RO/Julius leathers: Why did you opt for either designer, can you name some pros/cons, comment on quality, pricing et cetera. I'm leaning towards Julius because I like the raglan shoulders and I hate the elastic band cuffs on most RO's, but at the same time I'm pretty tempted by the RO Molino...
EDIT: Does this question justify it's own thread, or has this been debated already?

Not for the obvious reason (i am selling one) i prefer Julius leathers for the same reasons as you do. I like the fit of raglan shoulders and overlong arms with the elastic cuffs are weird. I like longer arms, but only without these cuffs. I know that the RO addicts will contradict, but from the leathers i have touched of both designers the Julius ones felt more substantial and sturdy.

^I agree with the above, but would like to add..
A few years ago, when I was contemplating a leather, both Julius and RO were on the table....
Both fitted great, material and construction was unquestionable, and I love the style of each of them... I was really torn.
What finally made my mind up.. was the carrying strap on the RO.
Sounds silly, but I did (and still do) go to allot of gigs.. and being able to sling the thing over my shoulder via the strap is such a genius of design.

lately rick jackets with the rib cuff are the minority, though i personally prefer them. because of the extended sleeve length, a ribbed cuff is more natural to keep the sleeve from completely covering your hand and allowing for actually holding items like cell phones or drinks (though this obviously depends on the length of your arm).
visually i think julius is overdesigned bordering on tacky more often than not. rick is more versatile from this perspective.
