anyone know of a garment cleaner in chicago who can be trusted with exotic/handwash textiles? I'd prefer not to leave it to blind chance (& yelp) from among the options on the south side where I'm at...

Typically size 3 correlates to 48, but with online measurements of Yohji jackets, it seems like 2 = 48, is this true? I'm most concerned with shoulder measurements, btw.

Yohji fits oversized, so in comparison with your standard jackets, yes, a 2 is around a 48.

I have a Y's coat tagged 1 that fits like a true 48; things like the armhole, sleeve cap, sleeve length, and collar fit turn it from oversized to poorly fitting on me, but it fits my US 38 mannequin perfectly.
I'm sure we can all agree that sizing always varies somewhat from garment to garment, regardless of who produced it...but in a general sense, Yohji fits larger than most. Y's is a different story, so I'm surprised your size 1 fits that large...typically its sizing is fairly standard with slimmer cuts.

As Dane says there can be quite a bit of variation in many brands, including yohji. In yohji's case, there is a difference between the newer and older collections, as well as between y's and mainline. The older collections tend to fit looser but have shorter sleeve lengths. Depending on your desired fit, a 2 is likely closer to a 48. Newer collections are cut a bit more slim with longer sleeves. A 3 would work better in these cases for a similar fit. Y's tends to be slimmer than mainline.
I need to source some white or cream colored vibram or any other quality brand sole. My google skills are just not cutting it on this one. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Would be easier to go to a local cobbler and buy it there.
