Rick Owens Bauhaus in oiled calf leather: was it only released in FW 2009 (Crust) or was there also a version in SS 2010?

I've checked back through the runway pics and it's hard to tell just by looking at the front. It appears that it was only FW2009 but in the SZ archives there is one listed as SS 2010.

And what color is 'darkness' - is it black?

    * edit: noticed one in the classifieds as SS09 but in lamb.

depends on the style and leather.

        donkey yes easily
        Horse yes with pain
baby calf ... no fucking way! Unless you are a masochist

Would be a serious gamble. I'm a 44 at best in Rick (boots and sneaks) but am more comfortable in a 43 (because of the toe usually) and I wear a 45.5 spot on in Guidi, can pretty easily wear a 46 with an insole.

And the width is a lot more slim than your average shoe...much more narrow than a Rick sneaker. I'd definitely try it on....where the sole is attached to the upper, there is a rim that can bite into your toe if it's right up against the end.

I agree with beardown, I would definitely see if you can try some on. I'm a 44 in Rick and a 46 in Guidi is TIGHT on me and a 47 is great at first and even better with an insole after some wears.

Thanks. I'm an augusta 11 too. 47 sounds like a no go. Why the hell can't everyone standardize their sizing.

the hem reads detroit to me.

guidi for bigfoots: it's not just the sizing to contend with, they are just too narrow for large feet.

6.6in leg opening? could just be yoox getting it wrong tho. also the rise looks low a la detroit. but maybe this is a tiny model wearing a size 30? looked like berlin but on further inspection i'm thinking its detroit.

i wouldn't get them if they fit. it looks like a flimsy poplin model where you blow the crotch in a few days.

Yoox is usually way off on those measurements not sure why they bother.

I had those Rick trousers, and the style is called Long Beach. The hem is kind of Detroit-esque, but the thighs are a bit looser and the total length is also much shorter. I am 6'3 and they looked almost cropped on me. Overall they suck imo.

                                The fabric is fine though.
