i only ask because last time i ordered from rakuten, anchor store, i got an apologetic email saying julius cannot be shipped out of japan.

I've encountered pretty much the same problem, even though the item was listed on rakuten international page.... Just use a proxy instead, also save you the worries on customs etc

Email them. I've contacted a buyer on rakuten and had a perfectly fine reply in English with a confirmation of international shipping.

Do i need a special tool to replace one of the metal buttons on a pair of DRKSHDW jeans? There's the button part and the rivet on the backside has 2 prongs on it.

these are just clamped together, theres probably a tool for it but I believe you can just hammer them together if you place the button face side down and hit the smaller part into it through the fabric. the prongs puncture the flat part.

It's RU3767LV which is not the shiny boxer calf that was used a couple season's ago but the newer thinner baby calf AFAIK

So what's your question? It fits bigger cos it's probably meant to be worn on top of a lighter jacket. That said none of the 97 stuff I've handled from HL fit slim, with the exception of some t shirts.

Some of the higher tier items in the classifieds are marked above the retail price while still in current, available, stock. Would it be poor form to point this out in the thread?

I'm assuming yes. It seems like blatant profiteering and could potentially save someone a big chunk of change in some cases, while getting a new piece.
