you can visit the six ghosts of Komakino at various locations?
otherwise, there's an embarrassing store in a Chinese shopping mall in Richmond [do not know the name], selling Givenchy & Rick Owens - which popped up in the last year or so.
if you're feeling stubborn, and would still like to see something nice hanging from a rail - you can always visit Bacci's on South Granville, where they sell women's Céline, Ann, Rick, Haider, etc. The store-front itself is god-awful (stucco & Paul Smith-esque rainbows? really?) but Andrea does some great buys - especially jewelry, accessories, & footwear.
Misch (also on South Granville) is another well-curated women's boutique - slightly further up the road, nicer store, nicer staff, and a slightly different aesthetic [ed: Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, & they stock Faliero Sarti as well].
do try to have fun, give that city a thorough middle-fingering on my behalf!—

thanks for the reply. although i'm sure i'd look fabulous in women's clothing, i tend toward men's. i do remember komakino in chinatown back in the day before i had the budget for such things.
guess i'll go shopping for yoga pants and goretex instead.

i wonder if i was ever there when you came in?
alas, alack - i don't wear [much] women's clothing either, but browsing the few decent women's boutiques was the only way to whet one's aesthetic appetite whilst living in that city.
you could always visit Roden Gray in Gastown, as I believe they carry Junya Watanabe, Robert Geller, Alexander Plokhov, and maybe even Odyn Vovk? just don't expect to be intrigued by their buys.
how long are you in the city for? might you need some recommendations for where to drink? eat? walk? dance?—

I got a scuff on some black lizard-skin shoes (so you can see a bit of the lighter color underneath the black). Could someone recommend a good polish/conditioner to fix this? My understanding is you can't generally use the same product as for non-exotic leather.
I've found a few polishes but they're neutral in color so they won't hide the scuff.

quite likely that you were there. i was the guy who came in dressed all in black. heh.
recommendations for food are always welcome. i've got dancing covered tonight at open studios with stacey pullen.

Does anyone know shit about caps?
I'm looking for a black snapback (preferably) of good quality. It can have wording on it but not something overly ridiculous. So far I found 40 oz NYC makes some that look OK, but I read they are shitty quality. Advice appreciated.I do not recognise the vessel,
but the eyes seem so familiar
