Does anybody know what makes an "overpant" different from a regular "pant"? LUC, Layer-0 and others mark some of their pants as over-pants...can't get the definition though
i) How long (is a piece of string..) do the CCP drips last roughly?
I mean I like em but there an awfully tall investment for something that probably doesn't put up much resistance to urban use?
Anyone personal experiences on these
ii) is the rumour true that you can send the shoe back to CCP and they will re-dip (and supposedly bring life or waer back to) the shoe
What I actually meant is that should the waistcoat cover up to the belt or slight above it?
I'm not certain there is a definitive answer. There may be a rule in proper menswear, however, I've seen photographs where the waistcoat sits above the belt, at the belt and slightly below the belt. Wearing a belt with a waistcoat is not traditional, the waistcoat would instead cover a pair of braces (suspenders) underneath. I would size the waistcoat to play the proportions you desire for the outfit.

Went into the library today and therefore should be a good reliable source;
mod remove if you wish but answering the question incase, since it was unanswered, anyone cares.
i) They are supposed to last 'forever' according to the three staff members. The leather under the rubber is meant to wear away at the same pace as other shoes (although i don't see how this can be true?)
ii)Rumour is not true CCP do not re-dip the shoe and so i don't see how they are going to be long-lasting at all. In fact i have seen a shoe after long use and the rubber has fallen right off!
