The Office Gallery is hit and miss with special orders. Chances are you are going to wait longer than any estimate you get. CCP is always experiencing "production issues".
....
The Office has more of a, " you are buying art and art takes time and is unpredictable" approach.

To be fair, this sounds exactly like ccp and I would say has little to do with whoever retailer is in between.. Some store might communicate it differently to you, but I'd say this is the label talking

Lowrey - I don't doubt that at all. I have not had good experiences with special orders with any store yet. My post was intended to be less about The Office than it came across.

The Office is generally very willing to help out. CCP special orders are just a crap shoot. You can't place any realistic timeframe on them.

^Yes. Some time ago, a little pressuring. I can understand that it can be annoying when you're hesitant, but with just an offer I got for an item I felt like I made a purchase already.

Aleksandr Manamis, I assume, since they don't have any other hats. Which one? I bought the low one back when it was called something else(miner's hat?) and only had burnt patches around the edges. I like how shapeless it is. Dunno how I'd feel about it if it had burnt holes in the crown too, though.

Yes, Aleksandr Manamis low scarecrow hat (burned one). Haven't got it yet, hope for the best. Been looking for a good hat forever, this one seems dope.

Holes are ok. It wouldn't save you from rain anyway. Baller item imo.

Dying Geobaskets

I have the Black and white geos, but i have fallen in love with the all black ones with the white sole. Would it be a good idea to dye the white part black? Has anyone had any experience with anything similar?
