Only Guidi's I wear for winter snow are the hikers, I wouldn't risk any others.
As far as Owens goes though, they seem rugged enough, especially the offering this year. I sincerely hope I don't eat those words...

I'd wear any of Rick's sawtooth sneakers or boots over pretty much anything else in the snow and slush..

guidi does offer a few classic models with the thick vibram combat sole this season.

Thank you, nictan. This looks like ideal boots for winter time. Don't you know about sizing,it goes 1 size smaller as all Guidis?

as far as i know, and from experience some guidis fit 1.5-2 sizes small. I'm usually a 41 in most stuff but in the past my guidis have always been a 43.

that being said, i got these a size smaller than my normal guidi size, which equates to it being 1 size bigger than my regular size, since i usually size up 1.5-2. (regular 41, usually 43 in the past for guidis, but 42 in these)

Hi everyone. Winter is coming in old Helvetica. Snow, -10°C, and the wind, the unbearable wind. What kind of coat would recommend?
I was looking for something really warm and not too "special" (i.e. bbs reversed shearling for example). Also, if you have something that might match what I'm looking for, do not hesitate to send me a p.m.
                      Thanks a lot

                        ^have you considered arcteryx veilance?
minimalistic design with great technical fabrics (the ones with the core loft lining are very warm), quite pricey though.

Just recently dyed a gimp hoodie black from dust. Stitching appears to be cotton, at least I didn't get any contrast stitching apart from a couple of stitches where the previous owner must have fixed a hole.

I recall that it might vary by item, I have no personal experience though
