Let me know how it works out for you, I got a pair of old waxed jeans laying around, wouldn't mind touching them up a bit to give them some life again.

How long does it usually take for a pair of BBS P13's to lose their wax for example? Is it over the course of a few months or does it take years?

Depends on how often you wash them.

Does the wax only come off with washing? Because I've stopped washing my jeans in fear of damaging them.

I don't wash my BBS trousers at all and if I do, it's once in a while with hand and care

yep. I haven´t washed my P13s ever I think. If one were to do it, would hand washing be better or would dry cleaning be ok?

From what I know of waxed products, using your regular laundry detergent on them will actually strip off most if not all the wax.

Otter Wax sells their own detergent (all natural I believe?) that's usable on waxed products. You can get it elsewhere too, I just know of that one personally.

Is there a reason why Blast-Bologna would ask for my passport number when placing an order?

I had that happen when I ordered something from the Netherlands. I also live in USA. I went along with it figuring they needed it to make sure product shipped outside EU. I guess having that number floating around could be cause for concern, didn't think it was worth worrying about.

Wasn't you? Might be lowrey then, sorry. Someone went through a similar situation and it's one way, for the shop, of being covered when sending stuff abroad (insurance cost being cheaper was the reason, if my memory is right.)

I know nothing about that, and wouldn't feel comfortable giving my passport number, doesn't make any sense. All the store/shipper should care about is the destination they are shipping to and a passport has nothing to do with that..

How would that confirm anything any way? The package is shipped where it's shipped, the shipping address is the confirmation. where your passport was issued is in no way relevant, and I don't think you can even tell anything by the number.
