since i have had the dubious pleasure of accidentally MELTING a blistered leather, i can say with some degree of certainty that at least a few years ago, it was made with some sort of resin applied on top of the (suede?) leather, which then has been distressed, perhaps through some kind of abrasion/blasting.

How did you manage to melt it? Did it reveal suede in tact underneath? The tags say vintage stonewash process, so I guess that must be the abrasion part.

saw 4 people in Rotterdam wearing this CDG coach jacket when walking next to each other. It was kind of suspicious..then I saw it everywhere on the internet for 200-250$. Are these authentic?

I'm pretty sure they just bought those jackets from some Chinese wholesaler without giving any input on the design and then slapped the logo on, the price is like £150 i think and there seem to be more of these popping up on social media than actual CdG.

It is as you suspect. The sole in the photo is a wedge sole.

Knowing nothing about the brand firsthand, I've heard they're pretty good and are at least on tier to partner with The SoloIst.

Perhaps moleskin would be one of them? I would definitely ask Upsilonkng though, he should know.
