i've got an image in a word file and i cant get the fucker out or tell what its called or where its original is... driving me crazy...help....

select the image and cut it and copy it into photoshop so you can get it out of your clipboard. do you need to save it as an image file?

an alternate hell was what i suggested, i.e., any Word file. use InDesign instead.Comment

can you double click on the image? that should select it from the text part of the doc and then you could drag it to the desktop- if not do a screen grab and that will save it to the desktop shift+apple+ four - then drag the cursor over the image- it will appear on the desktop as a png file.

^^^ What kira said. Shift + Command + 4 and drag a box around what you want. Command = apple on newer keyboards. Such a useful shortcut.Comment
