^I would recommend Kiwi shoe cream or Burgol. I have been using the former for years and never had a problem with stains, creases or whatever.

Is the jacket too small for me? It's pretty snug when zipped up. It's brand new, so it's not worn in yet. Will it stretch a little?

Big thanks! (pardon the bare feet...)
Jacket looks good on you. Mine was sung in the hip and it would ride up a bit when closed, but that seem to be settling in now. My only worry on these SS09 is that the leather is so thin (and wonderfully soft) that I am going to damage it someday. But its holding up wonderfully till now.

The fit is perfect imo, no doubt about that. I like it tight and it doesnt look like "Presswurst" (whatever that is in english...muahahaha)...

Appreciate your thoughts sargon97 and theaddict.

I'm really glad to hear that yours is holding up fine sargon97...because i share the same worry. The leather is so soft and flawless and refine (in a gorgeous way) that you just want to protect it and make sure no harm comes its way...haha!

I spilt red wine on a washed calf leather RO jacket. It's a sample so there are no tags. Is it true they can be machine washed or should I just drop it off with the leather specialist?

I was also a bit worried about the very thin and soft leather on the ss09 jackets, but actually only thing that has been damaged is one seam of the outer pocket, it last stitch has gone open. of course due to have put my hands in it. but that's no major thing. seems to hold up well otherwise.

I haven't been too impressed by it. I expected a sultriness, crispy and light, a cool desert night. Instead the fragrance begins very heavy and woody, settling down a bit to allow the ginger and more subtle earthy notes to poke through like a dirty hippie trecking through the countryside of North India. The scent is quite organic but I don't get a Doma vibe from it. Lucky Scent has samples available if you want to give it a try.

Why not? I am curious. I was under the impression that shoe trees are always good - keep the shape of the shoe and absorb moisture.

I'd think that because Guidis are so form fitting to the foot shoe trees might ruin the natural shape they develop over time. Just a guess.

I've been stuffing the shaft of mine when I'm not wearing them just so they don't flop over.

Confused again about boots. I've bought an expensive cream today which seems to be nearly perfect for the guidis, although they are a little too shiny now.
But what about shoetrees? Any opinions based on experiences with a similar pair of guidi boots?
