[QUOTE=couturehomme;344368]For folks who've handled both, which would you choose in terms of having the best "fit"?
Zam B Minimalist Jeans
or
BBS Black/Blood
I would go with Zams painter minimalist jeans for two reasons. I think BBS pants have a very distinct fit but all the ones I've tried/owned have been generous through the thigh and tighter from the knee down. The black/blood version you see here too I think highlights the bartacking that BBS uses heavily a little too much... it has a sort of manga/anime vibe in a neo-Tokyo sort of way for some reason.
Zams painter canvas pants are perfect all-around pants. I would recommend one rinse and dry to even out the salt markings and to soften the up ever-so-slightly so they are more comfortable. I like them enough that I have a pair in the dark gray as well as the black and after buying 3-4 pairs of BBS pants, I've liberated all of them.
I would think silk would be more absorbent, while cashmere more repellant...I'm not sure which would be preferred in that regard.
i would think cashmere would be more absorbent no? I'm just concerned that the cashmere will leave little fibres on my palms after i remove it as they get stuck due to the sweat.
if it helps, I'm considering getting Dents gloves.

Cashmere=wool=warm
My guess is that silk is a lot cooler for your hands.

Well silk has pretty good insulating properties so it's gonna be quite hot too (maybe not as much as cashemere but still)
But there is another good reason to go with silk: cashemere has very low tolerance for sweat (because of sweat's acidity).
So choose silk over cashemere!
Especially if Dents (that I do not know) does not offer in-house services for changing you gloves lining when it will be necessary (it's pretty difficult finding competent gloves specialist, and no honest tailor will ever agree to change a pair of gloves' lining considering the technical issues)

im in a bigger dilemma now. quick search on google shows contradictory results to what has been mentioned here. that cashmere has good water-wicking properties. can't find anything about tolerance for sweat though.
also found out that silk is the 'to-avoid' fabric for perspiration. and as cashmere is more breathable, its a better option for perspiration.
think i'll go with cashmere this time round, as recommended by Dents after a quick email enquiry.

I get that same anime vibe, and I love it. If those bartacks were neon green (my accent color of choice), I would be all over those. That said, I'm still buying some of the Zamb jeans, because they look awesome.
^ hehehe. It's cool, to each their own :) I know a lot of folks can get that to work for them. It matches an outfit with an overall sharp cut and slick fabrics.
Zams pants/jeans are nice all around. Comfortable cut and slim but not tight fit. I removed the rusted back loop on both pairs for fear of damaging some of my belts. I haven't even worn a number of my other pants/jeans in weeks.
I've saved up for a FW07 Julius moto 5zip. I tend to not look good in thick/puffy tops. Should I go for a SS09 moto instead? The leather looks thinner from fit pictures I've seen, and I've read that the SS09 lamb leather is thin. I've also read that spring/summer leather is thinner, but is there that big of a difference between ss09 moto and FW07 moto? I like the fw07 moto design better, but if its leather is too thick I don't think it would look good on me. I'd really appreciate any advice.
