I think this could be an interesting thread if it were a little more tactful - perhaps more of a personal "what things won't you wear / think look strange / why."

Personally, I'll never get used to regular button-down/up shirts not buttoned all the way up. I don't even mind tucked / untucked, but something about it has always looked strange to me. I get the feeling it's supposed to look more casual, but I don't really get that impression, as I usually get more of that sense from the color / type of shirt.

This doesn't much apply to big, flowy Ann D shirts, however - but there are exceptions for most everything.
