My uniqlo ones are cool butnot so much so since they switched from japan to china. I've got all colors, speckles no speckles but my favorite by far are my junya socks. Also love me hp floral lace socks.

Thinking about getting ro and yy color block socks too.

Go with Falke. It's a German brand - they sell it at Saks. Good fabrics - fil d'ecosse cotton, wool/silk blends. They a sort of elastane/rubber band stitched into the top of the sock, so they don't fall down your ankle the way other brands do. Pantherella is also good.

Pantherella lama wool and silk knitted socks. Best socks I ever owned. Very soft and light and warm. beautiful colors in the silk threads.

Number (n)ine sells wool socks with an isolated big toe.. they are great for boots.. or with sandals.. if that is allowed.. the design started with japanese farmers wearing socks with sandals and needed the strap between the 1st two toes to fit between the sock fabric..

This may sound too practical but seeming how socks wear out quickly for most people, wouldn't it be better to spend more money on other items? I agree they need to be very comfortable, as you wear them all day long. I can only think of holes...but most men don't get rid of socks with holes in them so what do i know.

Leather socks are a different entity completely. wow. I dont think that they can even be considered in the same category. How would you wear them? You would not see them... or is it that sensation of knowing you have something wonderful on underneath the clothing that only the select few get to see, kind of like sexy lingerie. [75]
