Would anyone be interested in trading a pair of black (maybe other colors) trainers size 43 for a size 42? They're still in really good condition. I used to have a pair of 42s that fit spot on, but thought i could pull off 43's from this season. I guess they do fit, but theres extra room at the toes. These shoes are already huge, and id like to get rid of that unnecessary extra inch.

IME, the biggest problem with any borderline too-tight shoe is the heel. the toebox and width will stretch but the heel remains an issue. that's why i sold all the 45 shoes and sneakers i had; just isn;t worth it.

I know what you mean about the heels part, especially those ROs tend to have very stiff heels, but my heels feel fine, in fact it's abit loose. only part of the shoe is tighter around the toes base and width-wise, hmmm, maybe I will keep them instead of selling, these may just loosen with time. Any other opinions? damn, I've listed at SUFU, better take them down soon

c.r.e.a.m - reading your trading post above made me realise why I took the risk to get a 41 instead of 42, like you I want to reduce the size of an already huge looking trainers. I know they are supposed to look chunky, but I have a probelm with shoes looking outsized and not fitted, to me it looks really silly, maybe it's just me.

Ha, I walked and stood around in them for a full day (including flights, a conference, etc) and felt like I'd come off a ski slope when I kicked them off at the hotel at night... happy feet. But hey, I can start wearing comfortable shoes when I retire.

I received a picture of a new womens pair from Antonioli (coming in the fall, if I understood the email correctly)

I'm calling Vans Sk8-hi on these....Vans made an all leather black on black version that looked just like these with the exception of about 1/4 the amount of eyes. (this is a bad example with the reverse stitching and white stripe but you get the idea..)
BTW, does anyone get the feeling that Rick just kept saying, 'More eyelets! More eyelets!" on these?

If anyone gets the distressed shiny leather trainers and gets them re-soled, tell the cobbler not to put masking tape on the black leather with their notes - it pulls off the black and you end up with a swatch of the shiny silver leather.

Luckily it was on the inner side at the base so not really noticeable but I could imagine being pretty pissed off if it was on the top of the shoe.

Which set did you pick up?

I have some white's on the way, but may prefer the black ones. Don't know yet though.
