Watched this movie (Murnau's Faust) on Christmas and it's stuck with me. Visually, it's just amazing and beautiful. Then I realized that most if not everyone associated with this movie might be dead, which accentuated a central theme. It is like having ghosts asking you, "How do you choose to live your life?"

Went to a museum, saw illustrations from a book:



Reminded me a lot of the imagery found in the old German Expressionist movies. Also saw a special exhibit of photography for this
