    i wouldn't call it unexpected...
One wonders where it will end, when everything has become gay.

    • hm, maybe not, but it does catch my attention, and I feel tremendous respect to his photos for some reason I can't comprehend. I only heard about him after i'd seen his photos at a museum in stockholm. I looked him up and found the architecture series which i love. these two pictures are my favourite of his. It has that iconic and timeless quality. like an infinity symbol.

            Only a bit dirtier.

            Only a bit cleaner.

I adore high collars and I'm obsessed with Julius' mesh fabric. I like the "ad hoc in the jungle" military look.

I fail to see what's groundbreaking about those photos. They look like the kinda photos I normally take, except nobody's ever heard of me. Not that I don't like them, it's just they don't strike me as very iconic.

i love the Ann D photos, merz' choices and the motorcycle photos as well. i think they sum up the intent of this thread quite well, in particular the motorcycle ones.

/\/\ Yeah, knows.. its quite absurd. If it went like 50% off I might cop though.
But then again, dunno if it will fit me that good with my current a la Ash Stymest-haircut.

Fade to black, quite true, but Yohji Y~ pulls it of better than most!

yeah Yohji has the sagely look in his old age...I don't think he looked as good in his (relative) youth in the 80s as he does now.

can't think of many other examples...of those I can think of, I think the Japanese in general rock it better than the Chinese/other asians.

                              More like Pettson:

Although, snusmumriken has flowers on the hat.

If those two came to my door wearing that $2K worth of headdress, I would assume they would be trying to convert me and prepare myself for refusing the pamphlets they offered me.

Would compliment the one on the left on the Ann D. scarf though. I love that print (particularly the cords she did).

God, what an amazing look. If only I could pull it off without feeling overt.
