@endersgame - not a huge fan of Arbus but it's always neat to see a photographer's creative process as they work through a roll that you can then examine on a proof sheet. Looks like she got her shot well into the roll - but it's always the best when a roll ends on a perfect note.

Very interesting lady in question, but also those she collaborated
with(as below) is worth delving into, but you might already be aware
            of most them ...

Yvonne Rainer's Terrain. William Davis, Albert Reid, Trisha Brown,
Yvonne Rainer, Steve Paxton (missing Judith Dunn). Lighting by
Robert Rauschenberg. Performed in An Evening of Dance.
            Photograph by Al Giese, 1963.

Laurie Anderson is another one, who isn't mentioned here.

Are you afraid of women, Doctor?
            Of course.

circa 1884 - franklin delano roosevelt wears a dress, as was the custom at that time. boys wore dresses until age 6 or 7, also the time of their first haircut. franklin’s outfit was considered gender-neutral.
dying and coming back gives you considerable perspective

there was quite a bit of spandex featured in that film!
i've always admired the way the fabric moves when everything is falling apart in the final sequence in the labyrinth. it was also such a bit part of my childhood that i can't help it!
