Did you pick them up at a Rag Tag or Kindal in Osaka, or was it a more specialised consignment store?
here is this shop which i have been there before and thought it was really worth a visit especially if you are looking for Comme des garcons and yohji. Shop name 10tow near tokyu hands shibuya. its pretty hard to find as it is located at 3rd or 4th floor above shoplots. You may need to try and go in the morning

Worth mentioning that a lot of these stores have in store discounts that aren't reflected in their online listings on Rakuten, etc.

Actually enjoyed visiting a few of the '2nd Street' second hand shops around tokyo - GF's an avid thrifter and dragged me there. Wasn't expecting much at all, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. An absolute crapshoot, mountains of 500yen garbage with a small section of high end stuff such as Ann D, yohji, Comme, Undercover, Rick Owens, & even some PH. I collect records and it gave me that same vibe of crate digging, occasionally unearthing a gem. Fun, but only if you got the time to dig though.
Also, cheers for the 10tow recommendations in here, fantastic store.

i think there is a music festival around that time(fuji?)...however, im pretty sure those events are lotto style so if you decide on that good luck! also, usually at some point in august volgavolga has their sale. of course depending on the weeks, you might catch the tail end of some of the S/S moving out from some brands. if you are in osaka Fascinate always has a very large stock (or backstock) of devoa if you are into that. be careful around that time because its pretty wet and very very warm.

I'm very surprised La Grande Lue in Osaka hasn't been mentioned anywhere on the forum yet, I went just today and it's a truly amazing store specialising in vintage Yohji Yamamoto. Clothes are literally packed to the walls and hanging off the ceiling, and the condition on everything is very good, which is reflected in the prices. The owner, Mizogami-san, says that there are about 2,000 pieces from Yohji, and he's very welcoming and knowledgeable. まーsan is also really helpful and hilarious. Please go if you are in the area, it was 1h of train from the Dotonbori area but 100% worth it.
The store also has an instagram @masayukimizogami
