I purchased an LUC tee from him and according to tracking, arrived in UK but never made it any further. I PMd him and advised that he needs to initiate a claim via French post and he is not responding. Not sure what to do now. I know he has logged on.

how long ago did it arrive? it's probably being held in customs. don't harass him. be patient.

It arrived in UK 27.08; it won't be in customs as it was sent from France

I've dealt several times with Dropt: he is a honest seller. Unfortunately, he travels a lot and checks sz from phone (this way he doesn't see any PMs, I've encountered the same problem). If he's not in France now, then he doesn't have any options to start an investigation anyway: what does YOUR UK post say? Have you contacted them and simply ask, hey guys, where are my parcel, here is the tracking. It worked 100% in my cases.

Yeah, but this is not the case for insurance or claim, they have just to tell you where is it unless they admit it as lost.
