Guys, I need some advice on this issue-

I bought some Silent A/W 11 trousers from a fairly active and established SZer (>700 posts), payed via PayPal, with the 4% fees. Payment was accepted shortly after, I asked him for a tracking number soon as he posted it and I was told he would post the item the same day or the next.

I waited till the end of the next day for a response but got none so I contacted him again. Waited 24h, still no word, so I wrote again..

Basically it's been 72h since the payments been made and ca. 48h since the item should have been sent and I've heard nothing despite 3/4 attempts from me!

Is something fishy or am I overreacting?

I wouldn't call it an issue after such a short delay. Those things happen. Leave the man some more days.

I'd hold tight. At this stage a reasonable excuse would suffice. After a week I'd politely message with your intention to open a Paypal dispute if no contact is made. Others may see that as a little heavy handed but at the end of the day you've got to look out for number one and if the seller re-appears with tracking and an apology you can always close the case...

I'm thinking the same. Seller responded minutes after I posted on this thread! Items been shipped but the postal service provides no tracking number. He claims it's reliable and that I should have it in 2 weeks.

Lets see what happens! Atleast I didn't make a gift payment on PayPal...
