Two days before the end of my tenure housesitting in my folks place at 9000 ft. in Colorado, a grizzly trundled across the driveway and down into the next canyon...he was over half the length of my mom's Volvo 940!!!

I think a small Japanese man or woman running for dear life in one of these things might be the closest thing a bear ever has to a video-game-like experience...a terrified, strange noise-emitting, brightly-coloured, fleshy morsel, clumsily fleeing from you into the forest...sounds like one hell of an ideal target...

EDIT: scratch the brightly coloured, unless these things come in various colourways...

ROFL...thanks for this, 0:17 gave me a good laugh.

There should be a compilation of single moments worth capturing in otherwise movies that barely exist.

Bears are usually more afraid of you than you're afraid of them anyway so unless cornered or w. their young they'll rarely attack human beings. Not that it should take anything away from this fabulous Japanese invention.

Someone forgot to tell that to Timothy Treadwell, friend of the grizzlies.

I don't think this should be considered bad timing but intentional.............
the picture was taken four years ago, and while I haven't read the story, it seems to want to project him in a negative light, with performance drug use accusations and all................
What kind of performance drugs could a Golfer need, especially with it known as traditionally a older mans sport?!

We live in a very tactless tasteless society, where people are just waiting on Public figures to fall to then start assassinating them.

Anyone in today's era who cannot separate the image of a person from the human-ness of being is really stupid to me..........
Tiger never told anyone who he was, it was the masses who assumed him being more puritanical than the rest of society, and now.............. we are not decieved by him, but by our own imagined perceptions of him

Dont want to quote myself but I remember once saying "disappoinment is when reality doesnt meet our expectations" I think its quite fitting here........
“You know,” he says, with a resilient smile, “it is a hard world for poets.”

all very true points zamb, such is the inexorable hypocrisy of human nature, reinforcement of Schadenfreude as mankind's true greatest entertainment and addiction, etc etc but it's all falling on deaf ears. Just thought it again funny/sad/absurd such an image should hit the stands at this hour.

enjoy the glow whilst still basking in it

Balmain Croc leather jacket, $75,000 plus other price absurdities in the collection, like the $14,000 metal tank top

I have always despised their prices, but I must admit that the womens collection is pretty sexy and If I were a millionaire dating a super model I would consider buying it.
