Let me take up the cudgels for Balmain... Hype and pricing is what makes them ridiculous, but at least some pieces are nice, IMHO. For example, I love my military shirt, it's made in France, exquisitely crafted, fit is spot on.

I dunno, I'm a bit torn. On the one hand, I believe that if you're gonna fail, fail spectacularly. But there's something really sad about scrolling through that blog, I actually went through a couple pages of it. It all reeks of an otherworldly cluelessness; I didn't think people like this existed beyond caricatures of the imagination.

I agree wholeheartedly. Though I do feel somewhat compelled to make fun of them, the overwhelming feeling is one of horror. How do people like this honestly exist? We all have areas where we are likely ridiculous, but there are people who seem to be truly ridiculous to their very cores. And the internet gives them a place to spread this insanity

and man that "lady" from the naked nippon photo series is remarkably delusional. i can't fault them for having fun and feeling sexy or whatever, thats everyone's right, but fuck the photos are clearly staged and for exhibition or something and my god she is totally lacking in self awareness if she thinks there is anyone on earth that wants to see this. that poor kid.
