Kanye West was recently spotted in Paris with Amber and Pharrell rocking a Balmain Jacket ($2,090), which was design by creative director Christophe Decarnin for their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. the webstore is operated by Vulpinari, who does manufacturing for some of these designers. everything they sell seems to be very old stock and for the most part some sort of "factory variants". this is just a guess, but I doubt that the designers or labels support this, but the manufacturer probably has some rights to sell under their name etc.
I know of at least one label that has had pretty serious issues with them and have since moved production.
