It's one thing to pay $150 for fakes but it appears this guy is selling some for $750.

I'm judging on the sole (which is gum rather than crepe), the inner tongue label (woven label appears wrong), some of the stitching, the size being on the tongue rather than the inner zipper gusset (or inner ankle like the later seasons) and that horrendous printed 'signature' on the inner sole that looks clumsy and thick.

Also appears there's no 'split' by the back staples where the foxing wraps around, as if the staples are purely for aesthetic purposes rather than the fragile part that holds the whole damn thing together.

I could be wrong but these seem to scream fake and someone will probably end up with them at $750 or thereabouts.

Agreed, Noticed the stitching on the white parts looks cheap and wrong, the lack of the protruding section and slightly "off" color on the *gum* sole, and finally to poor job of replicating the bottom of the tounge. Looks more Nike and less Rick to me..Feel sorry for the poor soul who throws down for these! Classy
