that Gap design's a piece of shit. I just started learning Processing and suck at it, made an elementary ass graphic over the weekend that's better than that balls. I don't blame the artist, I blame the bunk motherfucker at corporate who thought that was a gee what a great logo idea!Comment

On top of the $$$ spent on this logo, my gf says they will have to spend several millions to overhaul all the stores with the logo and reprint all the bags, price tags, etc. The consensus at GAP among the employees is that this logo is bunk and to focus more on clothes. Marka Hansen has been there for years and was head of BR prior so hopefully she has something up her sleeve. She does write:
"...we plan to ask people to share their designs with us as well. We welcome the participation we've seen so far. We'll explain specifics on how everyone can share designs in a few days. Thank you to everyone who has already shared feedback. I'm excited about continuing the conversation and believe passionately in where we're taking our brand."
So there is hope that this logo is just a PR stunt, if not, my sugar mama might have to find a new job because this ship will sink fast.
On another WTF note. 82Y to the USD. AIYAAAAA!! Going to Japan at the end of the month. It was 96Y three years ago when I first went.Comment

I keep thinking that I would love to see a film where one of the characters wears some decent Ann/Yohji/Rick. Unfortunately certain dress only seems to make it in if it somehow "reflects" a part of the character they are trying to portray, visual identity is important for a script I guess.
