rick denim quality is fine, I wear mine all the time. Obviously they don't defend against shark attacks or whatever you put them through..

I've worn mine for about a year and a half straight, the denim quality is really good. Best option is to get the overdyed ones as opposed to the washed, sandblasted versions. Obviously.

The best part is hog wash looks and feels pretty overdyed, and not sandblasted in any way. But it's just looks thou.
I do have his overdyed dropcrotch cropped pants and they indeed of very high quality.
