I agree with you, and christianef too for that matter, on every point. I only chose to clarify my position here since she brought it up in that particular context. There might be plenty of idiots, but I'm not speaking on their behalf.

I'd only add that the understanding and interpretation that one has of the garments and philosophies of the designers, and the discussion of these is what I'd find most valuable on these boards. Taking part only vicariously by reading through interviews, seeing fashion week videos or such is not my aim. For me it is essential to experience it with my own senses before passing comment. There can't be any valuable output without any "consumption" in this case!
