Oops I thought you were referring to this coat from Zara:
Well the release from previous seasons without the faux leather. I see so many people wearing that in Melb, it's like their "poster" coat.
Pretty sure that one is based off a DH coat, I actually thought is was suppose to be a slight copy of either Attachment/VA/CCP until I saw the exact collar/buttoning style from DH in someones sale thread.

I was reading about this. Let's keep our fingers crossed, otherwise in a few years we'll all be wearing Zara⚡

It's time to reacquaint the SZ public with this video. (Bonus points for the RO rider)

^ Yes, this. VERY MUCH THIS.
The music analogy resonates particularly well, because where would modern music be without sampling? I know a lot of people don't like hip-hop or electronic music, but they're new forms that sprung from the creative re-use of work that had already been created.

That Allsaints coat is a classic :P They're based on ripping off from this aesthetic after all.
Yeah, thanks for the video Faust, pretty informative and well - I agree with the conception about moving this concept towards other industries. Especially the music one which is too stubborn to understand that it is killing itself out of greed.
Reminded me of TED altogether aswell, long time since I've been there, got to catch up.Last edited by Czx; 09-24-2012, 10:41 AM.
