Cristobal Balenciaga introduced some very distinct shapes into tailoring.

But I'm not certain I agree with the assessment. Some of Rick's stuff reminds me of this, especially the coats from Exploder and women's Mountain, but contemporary fashion design as a whole, I'm not seeing it.

god that was my biggest sale regret ever . i bought that egg coat when it was current season , was like 3k i think . called up flagship in la and they found it at another store for me . only wore it a few times , then mentioned that i owned it to someone and for a few yrs i got random pm's from them and others askin for me to plz sell it . i was like no thanks but then this one persistent guy , im talkin he kept askin me a couple times a yr for a few yrs was finally like ok ill give u a lil less than double what i paid for it. i was like deal ! ya the profit felt nice at 1st but then i realized a few mos later how big a mistake it was . i hate even just lookin at pix of it
