Gotta admit, I have a black tuxedo shirt of his with garters built in and I I like to connect them to my tux pants where nylons would normally be and I find people staring on the subway all the time. Wonder what would have if I wore red nylons over top. Might be worth the fuss.

I don't disagree about how they look. I guess the irony for me is that someone like Harnden who's aesthetic and business model is so "anti-fashion" has become a fashion insider's darling. I suppose this is the way it always goes though, "authenticity" is always appropriated by those with enough money/power.
