Are those replicas produced in the same factory and just skimmed? I can't imagine reproducing that sole would be cheap?
I would have thought those shoes would be safe from copies, but I guess I was just being naive.
I think it depends. CCP or Obscur leathers that are on ioffer are just straight up fakes. I guess some factories are willing to work with small batches.
Some replicas are real though, just overstock. I think some CdG Play stuff falls into this category every so often.
But really, that's some fucked up rip. Hope you bought it for $50 from eBay and it was already worn to death. Otherwise there's no excuse to ask back your money
I wonder if this is one of those cuts of Rick's where theres a lot of stress on that particular seam. I returned a Mollino jacket once because I could see right away that even though the jacket wasn't too tight, there was a lot of tension behind the shoulders/armpits where the seams meet. this looks to be that exact same place..?
there was nothing wrong with the quality of that particular jacket I tried, but there was something off about the pattern, at least for my body shape...
If you can't return the jacket, I would get that fixed and reinforced as much as possible (maybe add a strip of fabric when the seam is sewn to keep the leather from breaking too)
"AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION. NOW NOW this is it people, these are the brands no one fucking knows and people are like WTF. they do everything by hand in their freaking secret basement and shit."
My rick mule jacket ripped on the same seam, its a problem that occurs with armholes that are too high and I'm assuming your have a muscular back as I do.
