The entire allure of Yeezy collabs (from Nike to Adidas) is exclusivity. Streetwear is commonly known for standing out and having stuff no one else has or is hard to get. All of West's collaborations fit the category, add to the fact that Kanye's an icon on multiple levels that people look up to and/or admire, you got a product that people will throw their money at, retail OR resale wise.

Yeezy Season 1's garbage, it's like high end grunge. However, to the general masses and hypebeasts, it's probably "STRAIGHT FIYA!!!".... Yeezy boost are nothing special , they're no more unique than a pair of Quickstrike Roshes or Tubulars (if Adidas made any already, I wouldn't know).

For better or for worst, people will buy into it, despite it being of mediocre quality and for the price, was most likely made in any low wage garment factory.

Anyway, that collection... LOL. He was totally right about wanting to be the next Zara (making tacky looking ripoffs from other designers) except for the pricepoints.

These "collectors" are going to feel rather foolish once the hype and hysteria simmers down and Adidas floods the market, which they can essentially do at any time.

The most embarrassing and wtf at the same time was seeing on social media the collectors camping outside some niche stores that mostly sell(or maybe only else) SZ brands...

Haha, they write: "FW 14 Collection" ... It's 2 t-shirts! What "collection"????

I'm assuming they must not have received a cease & desist letter, since FW 14 would imply these have been out for about a year now. There's definitely some infringing of intellectual property.

In the meantime, I'll be waiting for Fear Of God to screenprint "FEAR OF GOD" on the back of those shirts in a Metallica font and re-sell for for $650.
