Could you be any more vague? Are you talking about UCC? I don't think this is the place for that.

Well now I feel stupid. Still, the timing was just so... you know.

Has this been posted? I feel like I've read some of these articles:

          Suede is too Gucci.

Anyway, I can see a few designers making it a thing, but again, this replacing fashion is wishful thinking.
I think everything will stay very much the same in the sense that the technology will be utilized by as few/many people who use sewing machines and silkscreen setups in their homes now. I'd say the amount of home crafting in the country, if I had to guess is probably at an all time low? My understanding of pre-1970s ready-to-wear was that if you wanted a dress and weren't rich/didn't live in a city, you were as likely to buy the pattern/fabric and make it yourself as you were to buy the item in a store?

good point. people are lazier than ever.

the comparison to music holds no relevance imo, apples and oranges.

It's a shitty subreddit that doesn't care about art and yet it has multiple good posts about the show on it. Hardly wtf and you're literally showing runway fashion to a crowd that doesn't care about art/fashion in the least.

this is tangental i'm not referring specifically to the above link but reading or listening to uncultured people talk patronizingly about art is probably one of the most boring things in the universe

Not just art, but most things. Isn't that really why we're all gathered here, after all?

Wait, this isnt just a forum for victorian era funeral attire/space clothes?

I feel what you're saying Dudley, I'm tired of the blank stares I get around here when I talk about anything with remote seriousness, but that's what I get for moving back to my semi-bumblefuck hometown. Glad I'm moving back to a city soon.

it used to bother me but at this point I am so defeated by it. People like that don't want to have their opinions changed, and it's impossible to change the view of someone so willingly ignorant, and that idea itself makes me more depressed than annoyed
