i think it's actually better in a way, if not aesthetically. they don't claim that it's some brilliant, original art, in the way that kanye seems to think of his clothes.

If it's anything, I admire the courage it takes to modify such an expensive garment that drastically. Most have trouble with simple hemming, myself included. It would be wonderful to see more garments modified in an extension of a designers vision, from the individual's perspective. Or repairs as an extension, instead of preserving that resale, yo. Hardly a new idea, but one that isn't used enough.
Just a shame it seems the intended result was something already in production...
