Agree so much. I personally can't see myself in the peasant look, and so much of it looks exactly the same, which I guess works well for mixing them... I want something a bit more innovative instead of all these peasant-chic designers ripping each other off and sticking us in a time loop.

First picture is not bad, and it's definitely an interesting direction. I've already seen comments talking about how they're trying to fill some kind of "post-Slimane" void, but this is clearly not even close to the SLP look aside from the photography style.

Second picture has me absolutely cringing though

But yeah weird/poorly thought out branding direction - I somehow doubt Metallica's target audience are likely to embrace brioni. Obviously wanting to parallel SLP's recent campaigns, but 90's grunge icons are just a hell of a lot cooler.
